The Albion elderly section is located on Cherry Street and consists of 8 efficiency apartments and 12 one-bedroom apartments. One unit is handicap accessible. The community room and on-site laundry room are available to the residents and all utilities are currently being provided at no charge. Due to rising costs, utility charges are subject to change at any time. The site of the elderly apartments is a quiet and pleasant neighborhood.
Albion Family
Units
The Albion family section is comprised of 8 two-bedroom
units, 4 three-bedroom units, and 2 four-bedroom units. A playground
and basketball court have been provided for the children and most
utilities are currently being provided at no charge, with electricity
being charged only if tenants exceed their kilowatt allowances. Due
to rising costs, utility charges are subject to change at any time. These apartments are located on Seventh and Walnut
Streets in a quiet residential neighborhood.
West Salem
Elderly
Units
The West Salem elderly section includes 4 efficiency units and 7 one-bedroom units, one of which is handicap accessible. Facilities include a community room and on-site laundry room for our elderly residents. All utilities are currently being provided at no charge, but due to rising costs, utility charges are subject to change at any time. These units are situated on Cooper and Albion Streets, in a quiet, peaceful, small town residential area where a spirit of neighborliness prevails.
West Salem
Family
Units
The West Salem family section consists of 6 two-bedroom units. A basketball court and playground equipment are available for children. Most utilities are provided at no charge, and electricity is charged only if tenants exceed their kilowatt allowances, but due to rising costs, utility charges are subject to change at any time. These apartments are located on Charles and School Streets.

The Edwards County Housing Authority has received modernization grants from the Capital Fund Program each year since 1995. These grants have allowed us to improve our Housing Authority by replacing and repairing various items within the units and around the site.
