To apply for housing in Edwards County, you may print the application below or pick one up at the Housing Authority office, at 125 W. Cherry St. in Albion, Illinois. It is very important to read and follow all directions carefully. When you mail or fax your application, you MUST include the Police Background Check form as well as copies of the birth certificates, Social Security cards, and driver’s licenses or state ID cards (if any) for each household member listed on your application.

You must fill out the application completely and neatly, giving income, landlord and credit references. You must then bring your completed application to the Housing Authority Office in Albion, Illinois. If it is not possible for you to submit your application in person, please contact the Housing Authority Office for alternative instructions. All applicants must schedule an in-person pre-leasing interview before being offered housing.
